I often enjoy aquatic based activities: Fishing, Swimming, Water Fights, Lazy River, Aquarium Keeping, Scuba Diving (Someday). Hell, I'd probably enjoy surfing if I knew how. I notice how the typical individual enjoys fast paced aquatics like water slides & jet boating. I prefer my aquatics to be slow & relaxing. I often find myself daydreaming about living in the ocean, in an underwater city where the city has air, but the sea life can still swim about, the physics are that of water, but the atmosphere is that of air. Lately, I can't help but feel myself slowly suffocate in my reality. In my room, my house, my town, my county, even my state. My ****** says I should get out more, but I disagree. There's no reason to sight see since my home town is a literal wasteland, & There's no reason to socialize because the majority of the people in my town are hateful, sexist, biblethumping, political, homophobic, transphobic, bigots with a god complex. Until the day comes when I can leave this god damned hellscape, & go to an area with calm waters & lush vegetation, I'll prefer to stay in my room. My room has no malice & all of my material possesions are far more appealing to look at than anything that this fucking dirthole has to offer. My ******* keeps saying that I need a driver's license so that I can get out more. If I ever need to go somewhere when family isn't available, I just call a Lyft. Why would I deal with the stress of frequent concentration among idiots and deal with the stress of paying for repairs for my car, when I could just pay the same price for gas to go somewhere. My *********** often says things like "you should go to college" or "you should get a license", as far as I'm concerned, the only reason why anyone would see those as desirable is because they chose those paths to end up with the little comfort that they currently have. I don't have to follow the same path as the rest of these cogs do. Ideally, I'd want to do a job that I enjoy, I'd want to only ever pay for stuff Upfront instead of making monthly payments for the possibility of ownership, & I would never be in debt to anyone nor any corporation, I'll either use debit or work more to get more money, but I would never use credit. Sure credit can be good, but using credit also creates debt, debt that needs to be worked off. Most everyone in my life seems to think that comfort comes around the age range of 40-80 years old, ******* even said that I wouldn't own a house at the age of 39 years old. This world isn't the same that it was in the 1950s, you can write books & publish them independently, you can get paid to share your opinions online, you can get paid to teach people online, you can get paid to let people watch you have fun online, you can make independent movies & release them to DVD, Bluray, or even streaming for free given that you can sacrifice a small percentage of what you make from those movies, you can make music & sell them on CDs online or even on apps, you can have AI make music from your own lyrics if you're willing to sacrifice a small portion of your income. My point is, in the current year of 2024, there is a lot that you can do to make money solely based on hobbies, you just gotta try your best to do so. I'm personally waiting for the release of an RTX 5090 laptop, so that I can easily make a photorealistic 3D animation film independently with the quality of a blockbuster hit with the help of AI tools, that when put together makes a masterpiece. ****** often talks about striving for more comfort, & only achieving her current level of comfort due to hardworking and sacrifice, my BFF **** often says that there's nothing to life but sleep, work, & death. I feel that a lot of people have disbelief in early achieved comfort, because they see themselves getting closer to death, & they don't like the idea that some 23 year old can get a $700,000+ house simply by having fun, while they slaved in the machine working as societal cogs, only to currently be where they're at. Society promised them a small ration of comfort prior to death in exchange for their youth/enegry/body, & they hate the idea that someone's entire life could be comfort. To ANYONE who might be reading this, expand your creative Horizons, do what makes you happy in regards to a career. Try & if you fail try again, the ideas of "losers" is complete fiction, there is only ever winners & quitters.
